Blackjack hire from Fun Casino Fun is a very simple card game in which you have to get the sum of your cards as close to 21 as possible. The object of the game is to get a higher value than the dealer. It starts with the player receiving 2 cards and then they have a choice of receiving more cards or stopping.

Jacks, Queens, and Kings (picture cards) all count as 10. Face value cards count as their value. Aces count as either 1 or 11, the dealer will always take what is best for the player.

So the player bets an amount, our minimum is 10, the player then receives 2 cards. The dealer will have dealt them self 1 card. Based on the value the player has the player can either draw (take a card) or stand (no card).

Once the players have all finished their go the dealer takes a 2nd card. The dealer must continue to take cards until they reach 17 or more. All casino games have strict rules for the dealer, this is so that the dealer can not influence the game in any way. Say you had 19 and the dealer had 18, if no rules in place then the dealer may decide to try and gamble and beat you. But he may also go bust, therefore, allowing everyone at the at the table to win. The dealer is not allowed to make any decisions for the Casino, they must follow the rules of the game. Pick us for your Blackjack Hire.

Blackjack and its History.

Blackjack is very similar to Pontoon, the game which most families have played at one stage or another. Sat around on a Sunday afternoon with the penny jar out. Everyone trying to beat Dad and get his money.

The history is unknown but it's thought to date back as far as the early 1600's

Not everyone is always happy

"When twenty-one was introduced in the United States, gambling houses offered bonus payouts to stimulate players' interest. One such bonus was a ten-to-one payout if the player's hand consisted of the ace of spades and a black jack (either the jack of clubs or the jack of spades). This hand was called a "blackjack", and the name stuck to the game even though the ten-to-one bonus was soon withdrawn. In the modern game, a blackjack refers to any hand of an ace plus a ten or face card regardless of suits or colours."
